Meet Liz

Liz Volpe is a visionary entrepreneur, passionate changemaker, and dedicated advocate for reimagining the future of education. Her entrepreneurial journey began in marketing, where she built a thriving business but soon felt something was missing. She realized her real drive wasn’t just in building companies—it was in making a difference.

This shift in purpose led her to co-found The League of Extraordinary Women, a movement empowering female entrepreneurs, and later, Project Gen Z, a social enterprise dedicated to inspiring and educating young people through entrepreneurship. With Project Gen Z, Liz launched life-changing social impact trips to Cambodia, partnering with Sunrise Cambodia to support disadvantaged children. Her team of passionate entrepreneurs helped raise $650,000 and directly educated 700 young people, equipping them with the skills to create their own futures. Back in Australia, she and her team rolled out Dare to Dream—a nationwide series of entrepreneurial workshops that, alongside online programs and other initiatives, impacted over 200,000 young people.

Seeing firsthand the power of entrepreneurship and real-world learning, Liz turned her focus to education. Frustrated by traditional schooling, she launched Epic Fail: The School Revolution—Disrupting education one lesson at a time!—a podcast where she interviews changemakers, educators, and disruptors tackling the urgent need for innovation in education. This research is now fuelling her next bold vision—Tomorrow Schools and Tomorrow Hub—a pioneering initiative in development to create dynamic, community-driven learning environments designed to equip young people with future-ready skills.

A dynamic speaker, presenter, and podcast host, Liz challenges outdated systems, sparks bold conversations, and champions innovation. Recognised among Australia’s Top 50 Female Entrepreneurs Under 40, she has served on the boards of StartUp Daily and Shoestring Media Group and has spoken for organisations including Microsoft, The Entourage, RMIT, and the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit.
